Alesha Dixon accuses Cowell of cashing in

Crikey, Wagner's only just left the building and up steps Alesha Dixon to accuse Simon Cowell of cashing in on the bonkers Brazilian.

In an interview with Metro, Alesha suggested in no uncertain terms that Simon was "manipulating" the public (as if).

"Simon plays a very clever game because no matter what happens, he still wins," she scoffed.

Yeah... but that's what happens when you rule reality talent TV, Alesha.

The Strictly judge went on: "He'll make money from Wagner, he'll make money from Jedward, so he doesn't really care.

"As long as his show is being talked about in the papers every day, then I am sure he's happy," she added, sounding a tad bitter about all Simon's X Factor success.

And it turns out Alesha has been partly to blame for Wagner's survival up until Sunday night because she confessed to voting for him.

"I was cheering when he went through. It's not that you don't want the good singers to win, it's just very funny that Wagner is going against the grain.

"It's the public's way of controlling what goes on their television screens," she said.

She's probably heading off to cheer Ann Widdecombe on as we type.
