Colt Brennan, updates

Colt Brennan, Colt Brennan was transported to Oahu, where we arrived about 16 hours, and was transferred to Queen’s Hospital.
Speaking to a television station in Honolulu, Brennan’s father, Terry, said he had spoken to doctors.
Terry Brennan said his son had suffered head trauma, several broken ribs and a broken left collarbone and is in stable condition. Family members are expected on Saturday morning from California.

Stream, Brennan’s girlfriend, is reported in serious condition at Kona Community Hospital.
Big Island police have confirmed that former University of Hawaii Colt Brennan watch was among three people injured in a two-vehicle accident Friday morning on the highway near the Queen Kaahumanu Makalawaena.
Brennan Ryan Tollner officer issued the following statement:
“We were informed that Colt was injured by a passenger in a car accident this morning on the Big Island of Hawaii. He was transported to Kona Community Hospital and has since been transported to Honolulu for additional medical care. We do not know the seriousness of his injuries at this point, but that his condition is serious. We are not aware of the status of any other person involved in the accident, but our thoughts and prayers are with them. No details of the accident have been revealed to us. Colt family requests that the public is respectful of hospitals and medical personnel focused on the treatment of people involved in this accident. ”
Brennan was apparently visiting the Big Island after being released by the Oakland Raiders. Last month, he had a workout with exploratory Houston Texans.
After a football career record at UH, Brennan was drafted in the sixth round by the Washington Redskins in 2008 the National Football League draft.
After undergoing four surgeries, he was released by the Redskins before the start of training camp this summer.
According to firefighters, crews arrived to find the SUV on its side. Stream was able to exit the vehicle, Brennan could not get out of his own, he had not fallen, but it had to be extricated. Both were transported to Kona Community Hospital.
The second vehicle was found at 20 feet in the lava field, flipped on its side. The driver was pinned inside and had to be extricated with cutters and spreaders.
She was taken to North Hawaii Community Hospital by helicopter.
Responding to a 9:36 call, officers of the Hawaii Police Department has determined that Shakti Stream, a 27 year old woman Kona was driving north in a 1997 Toyota SUV when it crossed the center line and collided head-on with a Saab 1996 sedan that was headed south.
Stream and his passenger, Colton J. Brennan, a 27-year-old Kona, were transported to Kona Community Hospital in serious condition.
The driver of the Saab sedan, a 47 year old woman Waikoloa, was taken to North Hawaii Community Hospital in serious condition.
The road was temporarily closed and reopened around 11:15.
Police have opened two investigations negligent injury. The exact cause of the accident is still under investigation and it is undetermined at this time if speed, alcohol or drugs were a factor in the accident.
The police ask that anyone who had witnessed the accident to contact Officer Paula Jelsma at 326-4646, ext 253.
